Our God is an amazing, wise, creative God. We can learn all of that just by looking around at his fabulous creatures.
Consider the elephant. Just take a look at their incredible trunk–they contain more than 150,000 muscles and tendons. They use those trunks to put food in their mouths, to suck up and spray out water (and even to carry around up to four gallons of water), to throw sand on their backs to protect themselves from the sun, as a snorkel when they swim, to wave around to help them smell, to make a trumpet noise to scare predators, to breathe, to pick things up with the “fingers” on the end, and to wrap around the trunk of another elephant as a way to greet each other.♦ God gave this special creature an amazing tool. God’s creation of his incredible creatures is one way we can see his wisdom.
We don’t have to guess about God or about how he created the earth and all the creatures in it, though. God gave us his Word, and told us exactly how he created the world, the universe, and everything that exists.

Psalm 104:24
As a family, read Psalm 104:24 before you begin your craft. In the ESV it says:
O Lord, how manifold are your works!
In wisdom have you made them all;
the earth is full of your creatures.
Your child can copy the verse on the copywork page in the version of your choice. As you make your craft, discuss:
- Look up the term “manifold.” What does it mean?
- The earth is full of God’s many and various creatures. What are some of the strangest or most amazing animals you can think of?
- How does God’s creation show his wonderful wisdom?
Our Creator God is wise–and very creative! The earth is full of all of God’s creatures. It’s one way we can see God’s majesty.
