After all, the flowers are bursting forth from the ground, the frogs are croaking, baby birds are hanging out in the nest, and ladybugs are flitting.
The Bible tells us that when we repent of our sins and believe on Jesus, we too have new life. In fact, 1 Corinthians 5:17, ESV, says:
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

New life quotes:
- Repentance is more than just sorrow for the past; repentance is a change of mind and heart, a new life of denying self and serving the Savior as king in self’s place. – J.I. Packer
- If thy heart be renewed, if thou shalt hate the things that thou didst once love, and love the things that thou didst once hate; if thou hast really repented; if there be a thorough change of mind in thee; if thou be born again, then hast thou reason to rejoice. – C.H. Spurgeon
- Praying is the same to the new creature as crying is to the natural. The child is not learned by art or example to cry, but instructed by nature; it comes into the world crying. Praying is not a lesson got by forms and rules of art, but flowing from principles of new life itself. – William Gurnall
- To be born again is, as it were, to enter upon a new existence, to have a new mind, a new heart, new views, new principles, new tastes, new affections, new likings, new dislikings, new fears, new joys, new sorrows, new love to things once hated, new hatred to things once loved, new thoughts of God, and ourselves, and the world, and the life to come, and salvation. – J.C. Ryle
